About Frankie

Candidate · Nelson County Magistrate, District 4

Frankie Cambron has lived in District 4 his whole life — raising cattle, running a small business, serving his neighbors, and reading the fine print. He is a Democrat, and you can read his full story on the campaign website — but the plan is what tells you what he'll do.

For 25 years Frankie and his late wife Linda ran the Old Kentucky Home Stables & B&B. He knows what a budget looks like when it's your own name on the line. His son Scott and grandchildren Cody and Leeann keep the family close, and the peacocks have been strutting around the place for about seventy years.

Frankie turns 70 this December. He's running because he's watched District 4 change fast — and he believes the people who live here deserve a magistrate who shows up, asks questions, and puts residents first.

He served 8 years on the Nelson County election board — the board that runs local elections and certifies the results. He sat in the rooms where the machines are tested and the tapes are printed, and he'll tell you straight: our local elections are run honestly.

His campaign is about two cleanups: the black mold covering our homes — and the way county government does business. The plan costs the taxpayers not one penny. As Frankie says: “Let's clean it up.”
